Dual Source

One of my favourite views after rain. It is behind my studio, and I've painted to four times so far. The stream on the left is coming from newly plowed land (muddy) and the one on the right is coming from a grassy field. They are heading towards the Nepean River, at Mulgoa, NSW Australia.

Shadow Rock

During the dry period, my local bushland is a rock garden! Turpentine iron-bark trees show damage from the wildfires in 2001. As they don't lose their skins every year, the fire memories live on.

Upstream Impression

Knife painting texture is my style for this view at Wentworth Falls. Another one of my favourite spots to paint. I wanted to portray the raw energy of the wind on the leaning trees, and their naked beauty.

Gentle Falls

Set deep in the mountain, with a blanket of ferns, this fall was a beautiful surprise on my walk at Lawson. (Blue Mountains near Sydney). I enjoyed painting the lush greens.

Aftermath Reflection
