I am constantly moved by the contrast of rugged bush and gentle waters near my home at Mulgoa. And grateful that the drought has not returned! I hope you enjoy looking at my works, as much I have enjoyed painting them.

Gentle Falls

Set deep in the mountain, with a blanket of ferns, this fall was a beautiful surprise on my walk at Lawson. (Blue Mountains near Sydney). I enjoyed painting the lush greens.

Aftermath Reflection

A fantasy scene based on Wentworth Falls upstream. An aftermath of flood waters that have been prevalent over the last few years. Beautiful-ugly.

Dual Source

One of my favourite views after rain. It is behind my studio, and I've painted to four times so far. The stream on the left is coming from newly plowed land (muddy) and the one on the right is coming from a grassy field. They are heading towards the Nepean River, at Mulgoa, NSW Australia.

Cool Shades

Turpentine iron-bark trees show damage from the wildfires in 2001. As they don't lose their skins every year, the fire memories live on.
